Proposed Analysis: | The most commonly used association tests for GWAS such as the Cochran-Armitage Trend test (CATT) ignore the potential latent genetic heterogeneity in the GWAS data and suffer from efficiency loss. We have recently developed a likelihood ratio test that can utilize latent genetic heterogeneity (denoted by LRT-H). The LRT-H can be applied to the dataset to account for latent genetic heterogeneity. |
